Just got Link Vault (http://www.link-vault.com) links set up on my bookstores. It's similar to the Digitalpoint Co-Op, but the links don't rotate - they're semi-permanent. Until the pages get indexed, I don't have any "Vaultage". Like the Co-Op, you can show ads on one site and point links at another.

To see how they look, check out this page:

http://northatlanta-homes.com/homesbooks/index.php

At the bottom of the footer, you'll see a series of "Test" links - this is what you'll see if you're set up correctly. By the way, setup was relatively painless and code updates are automatic.

UPDATE: I've switched Test Mode off. Ads should start appearing soon. You won't see the "Test" links if you visit the page.

I dunno, I show say 4 ads and 4 sites show mine? I don't fully understand.

Thats the way I understand it. The links don't rotate like DP. They're permanent as long as you're a Link Vault member. When the search engines see a link to your site on the same page for 6-8 months, it stands to reason that would be better than random links appearing everywhere and constantly changing.

Hmmmmmmmm.....the only downfall to that IMO would be IF you choose your ads.

I mean lets say I run a kickboxing site. I wouldnt want a tampon ad on my big burly man site.....get my drift?

LOL

But the link concept I think is goo. Would/could be better for indexing
