I am buying a laptop, the laptop I would like to get is a COMPAQ R3460, but I want to make it wireless, I already have a Netgear DG843G wireless router along with 2 Netgear 54MBps wireless PC cards (WG511) anyway I need a type 2 PC card slot in the laptop to make the PC card work but the specs on the internet are just saying that the laptop has 1 x type 1/2 PC card slot and it doesn't say anything else, here is a link to the specs

So could someone please tell me what it means by 1 x 1/2 PC card slot, or does it mean that the slot is combatibly with both type 1 and 2 cards
