changing display settings windows 98

My friend has win98 on her computer and I have tried to change display settings by right clicking on desk top and going into settings, I can change the settings but the window that comes up is so large I am unable to click on apply or ok as I am unable to get to them. I have tried moving the window up but it will not move up far enough is there any other way to change display settings.

Try going to control panel click on My Computer then select Control Panel then display then settings .if page is still too large to click on the apply after you set your preferencces then try putting mouse cursor on the Advanced prompt and just about where the c is in the word advanced ease down to just before your task bar and left click as that is where the Apply prompt should be.
